Shochu is a Japanese distilled alcoholic beverage made from a variety of ingredients. Potato shochu, barley shochu, and rice shochu are famous. Plum wine is famous for fruit wine. In particular,
plum wine made from Kishu Wakayama plums is said to be the best.
